Magnolia leaves are an excellent leaf litter for bioactive terrariums as they have a slow decomposition rate. They provide food for isopods and hiding spaces for other animals.

Leaf size varies. Magnolia pairs well with my Live Oak Leaf Litter. Roughly 50-60 magnolia leaves fills a gallon bag.
