10ct Milkback Isopods (Porcellio laevis)

Porcellio laevis “Milkback” are an excellent isopod for beginners! Very fast breeding, tolerant of many environments, and forgiving of mistakes. They are very protein hungry though so are not recommended as cleanup crew for small or soft animals. In culture we recommend weekly feeding of a protein source such as fish food or freeze dried minnows. Milkback is a morph of P. laevis that is mostly brown with white coloration down the back or bleeding into the rest of the body.
