Porcellio scaber is an excellent choice for beginner keepers and bioactive enclosures. They tolerate a range of environments and come in more color morphs than any other isopod. Dalmatian is the spot covered variant of P. scaber and presents with a white base color and either fine speckling throughout the body, very little coloration, or splotches of color.
